| 11:26 pm | I've come here to rant about an LJ poster Okay, I totally believe that everyone should write whatever version of QAF fic they want. Vampires, the Middle Ages, BDSM, whatever--if I don't like it, I just don't read it. I also don't think mpreg is the doom of all humankind and I even have lots of fun reading and mocking bad!fic. I think new writers should be encouraged, even if my encouragement also consists of suggesting a beta and an English class. Write, I say, WRITE. For the loss of the written word IS the doom of all humankind. I mean, my DOG writes QAF fanfic. So I believe all of what I just said, I really, really do. So why is there this one poster in one of the communities that I belong to on LJ that even the sight of her posts causes me to want to take away her computer and her QAF DVDs? And I'd like her to be banned from the Internet for life. And I'm totally, totally opposed to violence, but would it really be that bad to break all her fingers so that she can't keyboard? Has anyone else had this experience? If I leave a community just so that I don't have to see her stupid posts and her user name on my flist am I taking this all just a little too seriously? Or are you going to hand me a hammer to use on her keyboard? Current Mood:  cranky |

There is a little QAF fic that I have written there that is unlocked, along with some general rants and commentary on life, if any of that sounds exciting enough to trek over there. |
